Tree Care and Safety
At Sunset Beach, our trees are part of what makes the community so beautiful — and protecting them is everyone's responsibility.
On Your Property:
Residents are responsible for maintaining trees on their own lots. Regular care, such as trimming dead branches and monitoring for disease or storm damage, helps keep your property safe and protects neighboring trees as well. If you have concerns about a tree on your property, we encourage you to consult a professional arborist.
On Municipal Property:
If you notice a tree on municipal land (such as parks, boulevards, or road allowances) that appears damaged, diseased, leaning dangerously, or otherwise unsafe, please contact Administration. We will assess the situation and arrange for any necessary maintenance or removal.
You can reach out to Administration by visiting our Contact Us Page.
Working together, we can keep Sunset Beach’s natural spaces safe, healthy, and beautiful for everyone!
