Your Summer Village Council
The Summer Village of Sunset Beach is governed by a three-member Council dedicated to representing the interests of all residents and property owners.
Council is responsible for setting policies, passing bylaws, approving budgets, and providing overall direction for the community. Council works hard to protect the character of our community, manage services efficiently, and plan for the future — while keeping taxes fair and services sustainable.
Each year, during the annual Organizational Meeting, Council members decide amongst themselves who will serve as Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Councillor for the year ahead.
Council is committed to working with residents to keep Sunset Beach a safe, vibrant, and welcoming community.
